Scatter My Ashes at Bergdorf’s

Gasp! Am I the only one who did not see May 3rd approaching so quickly? Coming out in only two days, the much anticipated documentary will feature some of the most iconic fashion designers, celebrities and style icons. The documentary will unveil the inner workings of this famous “department store” as well as its rise from a modest tailor shop to the fashion Mecca of the world. Although financed by the Goodman family as a memoir to it’s 111 years of business, Bergdorf Goodman was actually sold a long time ago to a little company you might know named Neiman Marcus Group.

BG has also released a book featuring sketches and anecdotes by fashion designers, writers, employees  and celebrity clients which resembles the documentary that will be released quite soon. Some of the featured characters (playing themselves of course!) include Tom Ford,Marc Jacobs, Rachel Zoe, Vera Wang, Karl Lagerfeld, Joan Rivers, Micheal Kors, Giorgio Armani, Tory Burch, Diane von Furstenberg, Bobbi Brown, Christian Louboutin, Victoria Beckham, Oscar de la Renta, Manolo Blahnik, Jason Wu, Thakoon, Narciso Rodriguez and many others! Be sure to check it out!

There’s nowhere in the world like Bergdorf Goodman. A New York institution and fashion Mecca, it’s where Grace Kelly ordered her wedding invitations; where Jacqueline Kennedy was outfitted for her dress for John F. Kennedy’s Inaugural Ball; where designers Halston and Michael Kors got their start. Bergdorf Goodman captures the imagination, inspires fantasy, and plays a central role in the history of New York society.
